About the Role:
The Nurse Practitioner - Patient Care Specialist is a vital member of our healthcare team at Med Center Health. This role requires a highly skilled and compassionate individual who can deliver exceptional patient care while working collaboratively with our medical staff.
Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, high-quality individualized care to patients using a combination of knowledge, experience, and situational awareness.
- Apply critical thinking skills to assess, interpret, and analyze patient information to design a comprehensive plan of care in collaboration with peers and providers.
- Delegate tasks according to legal and policy parameters, recognizing when further intervention is necessary and escalating appropriately.
- Demonstrate a commitment to lifelong learning for continued professional growth and education that reflects competence, knowledge, and understanding of current nursing practice.
- Establish a caregiver-patient relationship built on mutual trust, respect, compassion, and communication to meet the unique needs of each patient and family.
Requirements:
- Previous RN experience is preferred.
- Graduate of a school of nursing required.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field is preferred.
- Kentucky RN license (OR) RN license in a State recognized by the Kentucky Nurse Licensure Compact Act is required effective June 1, 2007.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Motor vehicle record check will be performed annually.
- Personal vehicle is routinely used for company business, home visits, or required for the position.

Salary Range:
$62,000 - $82,000 per year based on experience.
