We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Nurse to join our team at Holy Cross Hospital. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver patient care in the operating room setting
- Collaborate with the surgical team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
- Perform pre-operative assessments, including reviewing patient histories and conducting physical examinations
- Assist with specimen collection, processing, and documentation
- Educate patients and family members on post-operative care and instructions
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) and at least 1 year of nursing experience in a surgical setting (scrubbing and circulating)
- Preferred: BSN or MSN
- Competitive pay and up to $20,000 Sign-On Bonus to qualified applicants
