Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Driver to join our team at Ansco Construction LLC in Louisville, KY. As a Warehouse Driver, you will be responsible for receiving and unloading incoming materials, sorting and counting inventory, and operating a forklift to load and unload materials. You will also be responsible for preparing orders for shipment and providing accurate reporting on receipt of materials and distribution of purchased items.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and unload incoming materials and compare information on packing slips with purchase orders to verify accuracy of shipment
  • Sort, count, package, label, and unpack inventory that is received
  • Inspect shipments for damages, loss, or defects
  • Operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift in loading and unloading material and equipment
  • Stock shelves in the warehouse
  • Pull spools/materials and distribute them to their designated area
  • Prepare orders for shipment in accordance with the pick ticket and customer requirements
  • Package and ship in accordance with packaging guidelines and accepted methods/practices
  • Label and ship in accordance with packaging guidelines and accepted methods/practices
  • Provide accurate reporting on receipt of materials and distribution of purchased items

Requirements:

  • Basic computer and mathematical skills required
  • Experience within the warehousing/inventory environment preferred
  • Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes, weighing up to 50 to 100 pounds 75% of the time
  • Must be able to climb up and down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects with variable heights
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Class A valid driver's license and Medical Card are required
