About the HospitalDay Kimball Hospital is a community hospital that offers a range of services, including radiology, teleradiology, interventional radiology, stroke center, anesthesiology, ultrasound, OB/GYN, hospitalist, ENT, cardiology, and neurology. The hospital has a 25-bed ED with 24,000 annual ED visits and a 20% admission rate from the ED.
About the Program and HoursThe ED operates on a 12-hour shift schedule, with physician shifts from 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am, and APP shifts from 11am-11pm. The hospital is looking for a candidate who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment and provide high-quality patient care.
QualificationsTo be considered for this opportunity, candidates must have an active Connecticut license, be a PA or FNP with BE/BC, and hold active ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
