About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Social Work Supervisor to join our team at YouthConnect, a dynamic program powered by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston in partnership with the Boston Police Department. As a Clinical Social Work Supervisor, you will play a critical role in shaping the futures of youth in our community by providing clinical and administrative supervision, coaching, and guidance to assigned clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development and Implementation: Contribute to the development and implementation of YouthConnect's and BGCB's mission, vision, and program priorities and goals.
  • Supervision and Coaching: Provide clinical and administrative supervision, coaching, and guidance to assigned clinical staff, including initial home visits and assessments, triaging new client referrals, and monitoring and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  • Client Support: Offer immediate support during client emergencies and ensure proper documentation and reporting.
  • Staff Development and Training: Co-lead clinical program meetings, facilitate professional development trainings, and contribute to staff training and onboarding initiatives.
  • Community Engagement: Represent YouthConnect in key community and police department meetings, advocate for program needs with external partners, and enhance program visibility through external presentations and trainings as needed.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic initiatives, ensure weekly review and management of caseload and productivity, and ensure clients/families have timely access to care provided by our team.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's in social work (MSW) and LICSW.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in clinical settings and 3+ years of experience working with urban youth and families.
  • Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and demonstrated ability to provide and accept feedback through the supervision process.
  • Certifications: Valid Massachusetts Driver's License and access to reliable transportation for community-based work.
