ASL Interpreter

We are currently seeking skilled American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreters to join our team and provide high-quality interpreting services between ASL and spoken English.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate and effective sign-to-voice and voice-to-sign interpretation services in various settings.
• Maintain compliance with national, state, and local licensure and certification requirements.
• Demonstrate adherence to Sorenson's standards, policies, FCC regulations, and the RID Code of Professional Conduct.
• Meet attendance expectations and adhere to company policies.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years' experience as an interpreter or related field.
• Interpreter certification.
• Ability to pass a required skills assessment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred but not required.

Salary Range: $25-$60 per hour, dependent on location, education, and certifications. Estimated annual salary: $40,000 - $96,000 based on a 20-hour workweek.
