Job Overview

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the exceptional quality and reliability of our industry-leading electronic products. Main Responsibilities
  1. Interface with Quality Assurance and QC Lead Person to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
  2. Perform regular quality internal audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of original documents and released documents in our database.
  4. Issue and manage Corrective Action Requests (CARs) to resolve quality-related issues promptly.
  5. Communicate effectively with suppliers regarding open Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs) to resolve issues efficiently.
  6. Develop and implement strategies to improve supplier performance through semi-annual supplier rating reports and management responses.
  7. Conduct Supplier Source Inspections as required for Supplier Qualification to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  8. Analyze and create trend reports for visual inspection defects to identify patterns and areas for improvement.
  9. Revise inspection and QA procedures as needed, in consultation with the supervisor, to ensure continuous quality improvement.
  10. Review customer specifications and purchase order requirements to ensure alignment with our quality standards.
  11. Generate Failure Analysis Reports for returned merchandise authorizations (RMA's) to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  12. Familiarity with military standards, such as MIL-PRF-19500 and MIL-PRF-38534, is highly desirable.
  13. Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or AS 9100 is also essential.
  14. Collaborate with QA and Production management to resolve production issues and improve overall quality.
  15. Provide feedback to assemblers regarding accuracy of product data review to ensure high-quality products.
  16. Assist Final QA with product data review and shipment verification to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  17. Analyze electrical test data to determine Atypical or Out-of-Family results and implement corrective actions.
  18. Develop and maintain Quality Assurance Metrics to track key performance indicators and drive quality improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Working knowledge of inspection, measuring, and test equipment.
  • Able to use a microscope and mechanical measuring instruments to perform precise measurements.
  • Skilled in reading and working with prints, drawings, procedures, and criteria to determine product/item acceptability.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel to create reports, spreadsheets, and other documents.
  • Minimum 7 years of Quality Assurance engineering experience, preferably in military or aerospace products.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with colleagues and suppliers.
  • Self-starting and self-motivating individual with a positive attitude and influence on the organization.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and handle customer audits visits professionally.
