Job Summary:As an Adult Therapist at Polara Health, you will work collaboratively with a diverse team of mental health professionals to provide individual and group therapy services to adult clients. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support clients in achieving their mental health goals.
Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive assessments of adult clients to determine their mental health needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide individual therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic modalities, tailoring interventions to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Facilitate therapeutic groups to promote skill-building, coping strategies, and peer support.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and holistic care for clients.
- Monitor and evaluate clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed and documenting outcomes.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in acute distress.
- Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and therapeutic approaches in the field of mental health.
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or similar license in the state of Arizona.
- Experience working with clients in a mental health setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches for treating mental health disorders.
- Ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic alliances with diverse populations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach to client care.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer skills.
