Role Summary

The Merchandiser will play a crucial role in enhancing the visual appeal of merchandise within retail environments. This position involves effectively organizing and displaying products to maximize sales potential at various retail outlets. The individual will collaborate closely with store management to ensure optimal stock levels and maintain effective communication regarding inventory needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by fostering a welcoming atmosphere, greeting customers, and assisting them with inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records for current and upcoming merchandise.
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Showcase products creatively across different retail locations.
  • Design and uphold visually appealing product displays.
  • Regularly rotate and replenish stock on shelves at all retail sites.
  • Manage damaged and returned merchandise efficiently.
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with customers and clients.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Dependable and punctual with a commitment to timely attendance.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • 1-2 years of experience in merchandising is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and prioritization skills are essential.
  • Basic mathematical, inventory management, data entry, and computer skills may be required.
  • Ability to lift and/or move objects weighing between 10-50 lbs. and occasionally lift heavier items.
  • Capability to stand, bend, walk, and stretch for extended periods.
Work Environment:

This position is based in a dynamic retail setting, where the Merchandiser will contribute to creating an engaging shopping experience.
