Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Wellness Associate to join our team. As a Wellness Associate, you will provide services and care to our residents based on their individual needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility.
  • Maintain awareness of each resident's physical and mental health and report any changes to the Wellness Director.
  • Keep an inventory of medical supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
  • Assist with finding shift coverage when unexpected call-outs occur.
  • Develop and maintain assignments for the Wellness Director.
  • Assist in orienting and onboarding new Wellness Associates.
  • Respond to resident emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
  • Assist residents with keeping their units clean and tidy.
  • Answer calls for assistance and attend to resident needs promptly.
Requirements:
  • Current State Nurse's Aide registration preferred but not required.
  • Experience working with seniors and a passion for providing excellent care.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including pushing, bending, and lifting up to 60 pounds.
  • Ability to maintain positive working relationships with residents, families, peers, and other staff members.
