Quadrant is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the PACU department at our Chevy Chase, MD location.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure proper supplies and equipment are available in the PACU
- Verify equipment functionality and assist with inventory control
- Accurately document patient care provided and medications administered
- Perform nursing assessments and review patient charts
- Monitor and evaluate patient recovery, providing post-op instructions and documenting patient status
- Document charges for supplies used during pre-op and recovery phases
- Conduct follow-up patient assessments by phone the day after surgery
- Valid Virginia nursing license
- Strong PACU experience and ambulatory care background
- ACLS and PALS certification
- Excellent attention to detail and proactive approach
