CT Scan Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Scan Technologist to join our team at Virtua Health. As a CT Scan Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scan examinations in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Consistently perform high-quality CT scan studies for our patient populations according to protocols established by the radiologist.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge and utilization of all CT scan equipment and film, and take appropriate actions when service calls are required.
- Provide thorough and accurate documentation, obtaining pertinent medical information prior to the procedure and reviewing and verifying physician's orders.
- Provide safe and effective IV contrast administration, including IV catheter insertion, and prep patients according to established protocols.
- Assist physicians during interventional CT scan procedures and provide emergency on-call services where indicated.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in CT preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology.
- Certification with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and N.J. DEP licensure required.
- Advanced level ARRT certification in CT Scan preferred.
