Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to provide high-quality patient care in a home health setting. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, from infants to young adults, and contribute to the development of innovative new ideas with other disciplines.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver quality patient care according to individual physician orders
- Evaluate patients, administer prescribed treatments and therapies, and develop care plans
- Communicate effectively with patients' multi-disciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Manage emergencies, coordinate care, promote health, and educate family members
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans
Requirements:
- Current active SLP Texas state therapy license
- Current CPR certification
- Experience working in a home health setting, preferably with pediatric patients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
