Job Title: Night Auditor/Front Desk

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Night Auditor/Front Desk professional to join our team at the Crowne Plaza Minneapolis West. As a Night Auditor/Front Desk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, processing hotel check-ins and check-outs, and performing closing day functions while preparing the front office for the upcoming new day.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete the night audit efficiently and accurately.
  • Accurately log all wake-up call requests.
  • Greet callers in a courteous and friendly manner.
  • Record all information accurately and completely for reservations.
  • Have a thorough understanding of rates.
  • Confirm guest reservations.
  • Perform all guests accounting functions according to hotel standards when posting transactions and balancing an audit.
  • Register guests accurately and efficiently, establishing proper credit according to hotel policy.
  • Process check outs, listening and responding to guest positive and negative comments.
  • Accurately take guest and office messages.
  • Record guest requests and problems, reporting work orders to maintenance.
  • Follow all emergency procedures as trained.
  • Post room charges to guest accounts.
  • Process guest charge vouchers and credit card vouchers.
  • Prepare a summary of cash, check, and credit card activities.
  • Summarize results of operations for management.
  • Understand principles of auditing, balancing, and closing out accounts.
  • Skilled in operating computers and other front office equipment.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Prior front desk experience and audit experience.
  • General math knowledge.
  • Ability to operate computer and other office equipment.
  • Reliable, dependable, and honest.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written with guests and employees.
