Resident Advocate

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Resident Advocate to join our care team at JO-MI ICF/DD-N. As a Resident Advocate, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily living needs of our residents, including assisting with personal care, mobility, and physical therapy exercises. We offer a dynamic work environment and opportunities for career growth. Estimated salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year.
Responsibilities
Assist residents with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Provide emotional support and companionship to promote independence. Prepare meals and snacks, perform light housekeeping, and dispense medication as needed. We value a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional care.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of one year of experience as a caregiver or home health aide, possess basic housekeeping and cooking skills, and be able to lift heavy objects.
