Door Fabrication Specialist

Mead Lumber Company Inc is seeking a skilled Exterior Door Assembler to join our team. As an Exterior Door Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling exterior doors in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring the quality and accuracy of each door assembly.

• Door Assembly: Assemble door components using various hand and power tools, adhering to blueprints and specifications.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished doors for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as needed to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Hardware Installation: Install hardware and other components onto doors, ensuring proper fit and function.
• Project Management: Complete projects according to deadlines, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet production goals.

• Technical Skills: Ability to analyze technical problems, determine root causes, and develop remediation strategies for permanent resolutions.
• Exterior Door Knowledge: Previous experience working with exterior doors, including knowledge of materials, tools, and assembly techniques.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to read and accurately use a tape measure.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with regular standing, walking, and bending required.
• Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, adhering to company policies and procedures.
