Job Overview

Position: Financial Accountant

We are looking for a dedicated finance and accounting professional to oversee financial operations and reporting for a commercial real estate organization. This role involves managing accounting functions, generating monthly reports, and handling billing processes. Proficiency in QuickBooks (both Online and Desktop) and advanced Excel skills are essential.


Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee multiple entities using QuickBooks Online and Desktop
  • Process payroll ACH transactions
  • Prepare Financial Statements, Balance Sheets, and Profit & Loss reports
  • Manage Accounts Payable
  • Handle invoicing and receivables
  • Record commission payments accurately
  • Conduct bank account reconciliations
  • Execute month-end journal entries
  • Analyze and report on monthly budgets and revenues using Excel
  • Input and categorize credit card expenses and reimbursements
  • Create Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reports
  • Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual Financial Statements
  • Assist in preparing proformas for project analysis

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred but not mandatory
  • 2-5 years of experience in a dynamic accounting role
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with both QuickBooks Online and Desktop
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
