**About the Position**

The Chautauqua Institution seeks a talented and motivated individual to fill the role of Reporter for its community newspaper, The Chautauquan Daily. As a member of our newsroom team, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in writing, editing, and publishing high-quality content.

  • Cover assigned beats and submit well-written newspaper articles.
  • Timely submission of articles.

**About the Community:**

The Chautauqua Institution is a not-for-profit global convener of dialogue on the most significant issues of the day through engagement across four pillars: the arts, education, religion, and recreation. Our community is located on the shores of Chautauqua Lake in southwestern New York State and comes alive each summer with a unique mix of visual and performing arts, lectures, interfaith worship/programs, and recreational activities.

**Estimated Salary Range:** $25-$35 per hour (approx. $3,700 for the 9-week summer season).
