Job Description
We are seeking a highly qualified part-time science educator to join our team at Foothill-De Anza Community College District. As an instructor, you will play a critical role in shaping the minds of future scientists and researchers by teaching general biological sciences, ecology, and evolution specialty courses.

Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Developing and delivering high-quality instructional materials and lesson plans
  • Evaluating student progress and providing feedback
  • Maintaining accurate records of student grades and attendance

Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must meet the minimum qualifications for this role, which include a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as biology, ecology, or evolution. You should also have a strong understanding of curriculum design and pedagogy.

Working Conditions
This position is a part-time faculty appointment, which means you will work on a flexible schedule, typically 20 hours per week. You may be required to teach on-campus or online, depending on the needs of the department.
