Aerotek is a workforce solutions provider in North America, dedicated to connecting skilled trades workers with top employers. We are currently seeking a highly experienced Freight Line Mechanic to join our team at our Freeport, Texas location.

About the Role:

  • This is a competitive opportunity with a salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year.
  • You will be working on freight liners with 80% of the fleet having Detroit engines, performing routine maintenance and repairs on various systems.
  • Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting engines and components, using a computer system to order parts and quote jobs.
  • You will work off a preventative maintenance schedule, performing tasks such as oil changes, hose changes, belt changes, and minor repairs.

Work Environment:

This is a Monday-Friday position, working from 6:00am-3:30pm, at our Freeport location. The work environment is a large tent, until construction begins.
