Job Description:
Soliant is seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality services in a school-based setting. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with students to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students' speech and language abilities to identify areas of strength and weakness.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques to promote effective communication.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs and ensure seamless integration of services.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of therapy sessions and progress, including progress notes and treatment plans.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans that address students' communication needs.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure or ability to obtain licensure in the state of Florida.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced school environment.
