Job Summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team in Clackamas, Oregon.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic procedures using advanced imaging equipment and techniques.
  • Communicate effectively with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Assist patients with transportation and provide support during medical procedures.
  • Enter data accurately and efficiently into our electronic health records system.
  • Restock supplies, clean equipment, and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as medical imaging or a related field.
  • Successful completion of an AMA-approved program in diagnostic imaging and certification as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDMS).
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 1 month of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience with advanced imaging techniques, such as Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) and Stress Echo.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
