About the Job

This is a non-exempt position that requires discretion and judgment to create model drawings and detailed construction drawings for homes.

  • Creates designs from rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data received from Sales and customers.
  • Drafts detailed construction drawings and installations such as walls, roofs, floors, plumbing, water, electrical, cabinets, gas lines, duct prints, foundations elevations, etc.

The ideal candidate will have an Associates degree in drafting or a related field and 2-5 years of experience using AutoCAD software.

Other qualifications include knowledge of commercial & residential building codes in the US, Microsoft Office Suite, and team player skills.
