Job Summary

The Registered Dietitian will provide nutritional care to residents, ensuring their optimal health and nutritional status. This role requires a strong understanding of healthcare regulations and the ability to manage menus within budget.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the nutritional care of residents and document in the medical record
  • Recommend dietary interventions based on resident status
  • Evaluate menu changes for nutritional adequacy
  • Manage menus within facility budget
  • Provide monthly reviews and documentation for residents at high risk
  • Assist in developing and implementing education programs for dietary and nursing personnel
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian in a healthcare setting
  • Must meet all license, certification, training, or credentials required by the State
  • Must have knowledge of Federal and State Regulations related to the Dietary Department
  • Must be computer literate
  • Must be able to manage and menu within budget
