Position Overview

Salary: $16-$24

The Behavioral Support Technician plays a crucial role in enhancing the lives of individuals across various age groups. This position involves direct engagement with clients to foster improved social interactions and behavioral responses.

Key Responsibilities:
❏ Monitor client behavior in diverse settings including home, educational institutions, and clinical environments.
❏ Support assessment processes and provide detailed reports to the supervising BCBA.
❏ Offer training and guidance to fellow team members.
❏ Conduct ongoing evaluations of the services provided.
❏ Gather, document, and analyze data on observable behaviors of clients.
❏ Assist in training sessions for parents and caregivers, ensuring alignment with individualized treatment plans and behavior modification strategies.
❏ Communicate effectively regarding client progress.
❏ Uphold client confidentiality at all times.
❏ Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including clients, families, and external professionals.
❏ Stay updated with technical knowledge through mandatory training sessions.

Qualifications:
• Completion of Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Exceptional verbal communication and report writing abilities.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Capacity to maintain composure and adhere to best practices in challenging situations.
• Ability to successfully pass drug screening, background checks, and reference evaluations.

Physical Requirements:
• Capability to bend, kneel, crouch, and stand for extended periods, with the ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Endurance to transition quickly from sitting to standing as required by treatment protocols or for client safety.
• Manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination sufficient to operate office equipment.
