About the Opportunity

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Medford, Massachusetts. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to provide high-quality physical therapy services to patients with impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities resulting from injury, disease, or other causes.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with other members of the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans. A strong understanding of physical therapy evaluation and treatment techniques is essential, as well as the ability to assess and interact with patients and families using theories of human growth and development, family systems, and cultural background.

The successful candidate will also possess basic computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Additionally, they will be required to maintain variable work schedules depending on hospital/program needs to provide patient care, including evenings, holidays, weekends, and travel.

We offer a competitive salary range for this position, estimated at $70,000 - $90,000 per year, based on experience. The actual salary will be determined by the final candidate's qualifications and experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate physical therapy needs according to organizational and professional guidelines
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
  • Educate patients, families, and healthcare professionals about physical therapy services and best practices
  • Direct and supervise support personnel to ensure efficient and effective care delivery
  • Manage technical, environmental, and financial resources to optimize outcomes and quality of care

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Licensed (and in good standing) as a physical therapist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
