Job Summary

As a Pricing Specialist at Brookshire Grocery Company, you will play a critical role in ensuring pricing integrity in our stores. This involves maintaining and updating pricing and shelf tag information, promoting customer service by assisting customers with locating products and performing price verifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Verify and update pricing information in the computer system to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Investigate and resolve pricing discrepancies, including adding items not on file and running reports to prevent shrink.
  • Ensure displays and shelves have accurate pricing and signage, and remove and replace shelf tags as needed.
  • Verify and apply price changes from ads, ad corrections, and discontinued clearance items.
  • Maintain scanning and computer equipment, and contact the Help Desk for assistance when necessary.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and responding to complaints.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary working and shopping environment by adhering to Company safety procedures.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to maintain a high level of accuracy and productivity.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to learn new technology systems, methods, and processes.
  • Basic knowledge of FIM (Fresh Item Management) and SAP reporting applications.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and partners.
Education, Experience, and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 18 years of age required.
  • High school Diploma or GED required.
  • Typically involves on-the-job training.
Work Context and Environment
  • Work is generally performed in a retail store environment.
  • Quiet to moderate noise level.
