Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

The Wood Restoration Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Conducting minor repairs and refinishing wood components to achieve specified colors and finishes.
  • Assisting hardwood floor technicians and contributing to marketing initiatives as required.
  • Preparing wood surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and correcting imperfections.
  • Applying finishes and coatings using high-volume, low-pressure (HVLP) sprayers and ensuring proper technique based on wood condition.
  • Assessing wood for damage and determining the best restoration methods.
  • Removing old finishes and repairing any damaged parts.
  • Maintaining equipment and ensuring a clean workspace.
  • Adhering to safety and environmental regulations.
