We are seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at LHC Group. As a key member of our home health team, you will provide occupational therapy services to patients in their homes, helping them to restore their physical abilities and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in their homes, following established plans of care and state-specific laws governing occupational therapy in home care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, instructing patients and their caregivers on therapeutic techniques and strategies.
- Monitor patient progress, reporting changes in condition to supervising OTs, nurse supervisors, and physicians as needed.
- Current OTA licensure in the state of Alabama.
- Current CPR certification.
- Two years of experience practicing as an Occupational Therapist in Alabama.
