Assemblage Technician

**Job Summary:**

We're seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembler to join our team at Elgin Sweeper. In this role, you'll be responsible for assembling parts and/or vehicles according to customer specifications and quality standards.

**Responsibilities:**

• Review customer factory orders and determine required assembly, exterior finish, or special options.
• Assemble assigned components according to blueprints, assembly drawings, and job requirements.
• Notify Material Handlers of subassembly shortages, part shortages, or fasteners below indicated inventory levels and request re-orders via internal Pull System.
• Report non-conforming parts, materials, or drawings to assigned Production Supervisors.
• Input work order data into MRP/JDE system using RF Scanner, keyboard, and mouse, and complete required reporting.
• Consult Quad Leaders on suggestions/guidance to resolve assembly problems.
• Ensure defect-free products by following procedures and processes, completing in-process inspections, repairing defects found, and documenting critical quality information as necessary.
