Speech Language Pathologist

A local school is seeking a dedicated professional in Speech Language Pathology (SLP), Occupational Therapy (OT), or Physical Therapy (PT) for the upcoming academic year. The selected therapist will be responsible for evaluating and diagnosing relevant disorders, and developing appropriate treatment plans. Additionally, they will work closely with families and caregivers to train and educate them on managing these disorders.
Responsibilities:- Diagnose and treat relevant disorders.
- Create and implement individualized treatment and therapy plans for a diverse patient population.
- Educate patients and their families about disorders, their causes, and management strategies, including those related to disabilities and traumatic events.
- Maintain detailed records of patient conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress.
- Previous experience in the respective field (SLP, OT, or PT) is required.
- Prior experience in a school setting is preferred.
For SLP:
- Must possess a master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
- Full accreditation (CCC) is preferred.
- Must be at least in the Clinical Fellowship Year.
For OT/PT:
- Must possess a master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy.
- Relevant state licensure is required.
