Job Title: CDL Driver

Lignetics, Inc. is seeking a skilled CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our team. As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for operating 18-wheel Volvo and International trucks with automatic and manual transmissions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials.
  • Responsible for daily completion of all required paperwork, including freight bills, load sheets, electronic logbooks, records of fuel purchases, mileage records, and other records required for compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License with appropriate endorsements.
  • Minimum of 1 year previous tractor-trailer driving experience.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English at a level that would allow the communication and comprehension of job-related information, instructions, regulations, signs, maps, MSDS guidelines, required paperwork, memos, etc.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, inspection, and maintenance.
  • Meet or exceed the medical standards of the U.S. Dept. of Transportation and have a valid DOT Medical Card.
  • Ability to frequently reach for freight at waist level and occasionally reach for freight above shoulder height or below waist level.
  • Ability to occasionally reach above shoulder level, at waist level, and below waist level for maneuvering and directing the controls to operate the truck.
  • Ability to load and unload full trailers of freight.
