Job Summary

Telecare Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Lead Registered Behavior Technician to join our team at Cypress House, a Community Crisis Home in California. As a key member of our multidisciplinary treatment team, you will provide rehabilitative support services for adults with developmental disabilities and challenging behavior service needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings, utilizing applied behavioral analysis (ABA) principles and natural environment training arrangements.
  • Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
  • Collaborate with the individual support team and partnering agencies to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans, incorporating ABA principles and behavioral supports.
  • Provide training and supervision to direct care staff, ensuring they understand the needs of the person served and their job duties.
  • Assign staff to work with persons served based on their individual needs, ensuring effective care and support.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, completing necessary reporting and documentation.
Requirements
  • High School Graduation or G.E.D.
  • One (1) Year experience providing direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities with challenging behavior service needs.
  • Board certified as a Registered Behavior Technician within 60 days of initial employment or be a Qualified Behavior Modification Professional.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Valid driver's license, with a clean driving record and ability to transport clients as needed.
