Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Laundry Operations Specialist to join our team at Houstonian Campus LLC. As a key member of our campus operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of soiled and processed linens between the campus laundry and various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport soiled and processed linens between the campus laundry and various locations
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the soiled and clean linen areas
  • Sort and cart soiled linen from the hotel and load/unload linen carts
  • Operate a vehicle safely on busy roadways and in tight garages
  • Work effectively with others on a team to achieve common goals
Requirements
  • High School Education or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a commercial laundry or housekeeping environment is a plus
  • Valid Texas driver's license and good driving record required
  • Conversational English language skills and ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 lbs. and manipulate carts that weigh 350 lbs.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced laundry environment with a loud noise level, extreme temperatures, and slick floor surfaces. The successful candidate will be required to work in a professional manner and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
