Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Site Operations Manager to join our team in El Paso, TX. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all security operations at the DEA Protective Security Services site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of security guards and ensure that all security protocols are followed.
  • Enforce regulations and procedures designed to prevent breaches of security.
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies, using judgment and discretion to determine the best course of action.
  • Maintain a high level of physical fitness and demonstrate proficiency with firearms and other special weapons.
  • Perform guard duties and work beyond 8 hours per day when required.

Requirements:

  • A US citizen with a SECRET clearance.
  • A Level III commissioned security officer.
  • Completed Basic DHS/FPS SGIM/SMART Book Training course.
  • Associates degree or three years of increasingly responsible administrative experience may be substituted for education.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interface with personnel and government agencies at all levels.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently.

Working Conditions:

The Site Operations Manager will work in a field environment, subject to blowing dust and sand, with temperatures ranging from 10(-) degrees F in the winter to 125(+) degrees F in the summer. Routinely working 10(+) hours per day, the successful candidate must be able to adapt to changing conditions and prioritize tasks effectively.
