Iron Skillet Cook

TravelCenters of America is seeking a skilled Cook to join our restaurant team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality food to our guests.

• Prepare and cook a variety of menu items to meet customer demands
• Perform prep cook tasks, including washing, chopping, and sorting ingredients
• Set up and maintain broiler, fryer, and grill stations according to line check sheets
• Prepare all products to specifications and follow plate presentation guides
• Complete prep, freezer pull, and temperature checklist sheets
• Practice safe food handling and storage procedures, as well as waste control
• Maintain equipment per operating standards
• Prioritize work according to restaurant and guest needs
• Build strong communication and rapport with leaders and coworkers

• Dedicated individual with a passion for food service
• Previous food service experience a plus
• Good verbal communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
