Position Title: Senior SAP EDI Specialist (ANSI X12 / EDIFACT)

Employment Type: W2 / C2C / 1099

Experience Required: 10-15 Years

Key Responsibilities:

  • Possess a minimum of 7 years of substantial experience in EDI and SAP.
  • Demonstrate expertise in SAP IDOC configurations, including inbound and outbound processes, mapping, and message types.
  • Exhibit strong proficiency with ANSI X12 and EDIFACT EDI standards.
  • Participate in EDI migration initiatives.
  • Have familiarity with EDI subsystems such as OpenText Active Documents, Elemica, or Gentran Integration Suite.
  • Showcase excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Hold certification in SAP EDI or related domains.
  • Possess experience across multiple EDI subsystems.
  • Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Configure output messages for outbound IDOCs effectively.
  • Implement EDI migration projects, transitioning between various EDI subsystems.
  • Understand business workflows and provide necessary insights to EDI service providers.
  • Oversee SAP EDI functional responsibilities, including management of SAP IDOC processes.
  • Handle various ANSI X12 (e.g., EDI 810, 850, 856, 855, 860, 820, 204, 210, 214, 940, 945, 944, and 997 documents) and EDIFACT documents.
  • Collaborate with one or more EDI subsystems (e.g., OpenText Active Documents, Elemica, Gentran Integration Suite).
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or a comparable combination of education and experience.
