About the Role
The Key Account Materials Specialist will be responsible for leading the supply continuity for a key customer account. This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the right plan is in place, including:
- Daily Review of Open Demand vs Plan: The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing open demand versus plan on a daily basis, making decisions to align with successful serviceability and contractual obligations.
- Freight Forwarding and Logistics: The candidate will work with freight forwarding services for imported finished goods and manage relationships with 3rd party suppliers, both domestic and international.
- Supply Chain Management: The Key Account Materials Specialist will lead regular check-in supply meetings with stakeholders on a weekly basis and provide backup support for the dedicated customer solutions representative.
- Performance Metrics: The candidate will track key performance indicators for this account, including On Time In Full (OTIF) and Range of Coverage (RoC).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Supply Chain: The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in business or supply chain.
- International Freight Experience: Experience with international freight and partners is preferred.
- Supply Chain Expertise: The candidate will have experience with planning and supplying third-party finished materials, including toll blending.
- Organizational Skills: The Key Account Materials Specialist will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Communication Skills: The candidate will be able to openly communicate with all levels of management, customers, and carriers.
- Technical Skills: The successful candidate will have intermediate Microsoft Suite proficiency, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as data analytics skills and experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
