Position Overview

Assist in the transportation of patients to and from the imaging facilities and care areas. Operate processing equipment to ensure smooth patient flow. Carry out administrative tasks related to both inpatient and outpatient procedures, including scheduling examinations and managing film releases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support physicians and technologists as needed during examinations.
  • Prepare CDs for patient film release.
  • Transport patients between care areas and the imaging department; assist in transferring patients to/from carts, wheelchairs, and tables, ensuring their comfort and safety.
Qualifications
  • Completion of two semesters in an accredited Radiographic Program with satisfactory academic performance.
  • Current CPR certification is required.
  • Possession of a valid Indiana State Department of Health Student License.
