Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Participate in high-risk delivery room coverage and provide emergency care as needed.
- Develop and implement educational programs for patients, families, and healthcare staff to promote health and wellness.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in research projects to advance neonatal care.
- Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
- Connecticut State Registered Nurse License and Nurse Practitioner License.
- Board specialty certification, ACLS/BLS certification, and DEA License as required for the position.
- 2+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in neonatology, with a strong background in high-risk delivery room coverage.
