Job Summary

The Assistant Store Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the success of our stores by providing exceptional customer service, leading a team of sales associates, and maintaining a well-organized and visually appealing store environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
    • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
    • Provide coaching, training, and feedback to sales associates to improve performance and skills.
  • Store Operations
    • Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and visual merchandising.
    • Ensure the store is maintained in a clean, safe, and organized manner, adhering to company standards.
  • Loss Prevention
    • Monitor and control store inventory, including receiving, stocking, and pricing merchandise.
    • Identify and report any discrepancies or losses to management.
  • Training and Development
    • Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
    • Develop and implement training plans for sales associates to improve performance and skills.

Requirements

  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 2 years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
