We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Mental Health Technician to join our team at Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Assist in coordinating program activities, including activity groups and specialty groups.
- Work closely with clinical staff to conduct process and specialty groups within the patient program.
- Ensure the patient program schedule is carried out as planned by the staff team.
- Perform various duties assisting staff nurses in the psychiatric and physical treatment and care of patients.
- Interact with patients in a therapeutic manner and assist other staff in maintaining appropriate boundaries.
- Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Mental Health related field and two years of experience in the mental health field.
- 1-2 years experience in a psychiatric or CD inpatient, residential or group home setting.
