We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in Hartford, Wisconsin. As a per diem / prn Float Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing basic and intermediate radiographic procedures, communicating with patients, and ensuring the accuracy of exams.

Responsibilities- Perform basic and intermediate radiographic procedures, including general diagnostic and fluoroscopic examinations.
- Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures, obtaining clinical history, and addressing questions or concerns.
- Position patients, select exposure factors, and provide radiation protection and safety in accordance with prescribed methods.
- Identify patient information, label images, compare requisitions to physician orders, and process images to ensure exam accuracy.
- Assist, communicate, and consult with Radiologists as needed.
- Maintain accurate records, enter patient and study information into the radiology information system, and document billing codes for procedures performed.
- Transport and position patients safely, utilizing proper technique, and lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist.
- Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin.
- Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) within 6 months.
- Advanced training beyond High School in Radiologic Technology.
