Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at YesCare Health. As a Behavioral Health Mid-Level, you will play a critical role in providing mental health services to inmates and patients in a correctional facility setting.

• Respond to and initiate care for those requiring mental health services throughout the facility.
• Assess inmate/patient in a variety of settings and identify mental health problems.
• Prescribe treatment under the direction of a physician and implement mental health services utilizing therapeutic regimens approved by a psychiatrist.
• Provide mental health education to inmate/patient, healthcare and correctional staff.
• Document all mental healthcare contacts and adhere to safety and security policies.

• Graduate of an accredited college/university Nurse Practitioner program with current license/certification in the state in which working.
• Current CPR certification and ability to participate in on-call schedule.
• Subject to initial and ongoing security clearance requirements.
