Position Overview
As a key member of our Airlines Liaison Team (ALT), you will act as a representative for airlines, addressing a variety of technical, strategic, and operational challenges in collaboration with the airport. Your role will involve engaging with clients and stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality interactions and comprehensive documentation for various projects. Our work is crucial for the airlines and the airport authority, as it ensures that project scope, timelines, and budgets are meticulously monitored and coordinated.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Project Management Office and other stakeholders to ensure project adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of project information, including managing contracts, change orders, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Oversee project construction, providing progress reports and addressing any issues that may affect project parameters; conduct field visits and inspections as necessary.
- Engage with airline personnel and stakeholders regarding operational impacts, representing airline concerns and informing them of upcoming construction activities.
- Critically assess project assumptions and technical aspects throughout all phases of project development.
- Participate in regular coordination and strategy meetings, producing and maintaining executive-level summaries and reports based on stakeholder recommendations.
- Work closely with financial teams to ensure project scope and funding are aligned and properly tracked.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in all phases of construction and project management, particularly in complex commercial aviation projects.
- Strong background in planning and budgeting for large-scale capital programs.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, architects, and other professionals.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building abilities.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Business, or Construction Management.
- PMP and LEED certifications are advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Adobe, and BlueBeam.
- Prior experience in the commercial aviation sector is essential.
