Telemedicine Nurse

We are currently seeking a skilled Telemetry RN for an immediate travel nurse opportunity in Weston, WV. This role requires recent acute care experience and a strong ability to interpret electronic displays.

As a Telehealth professional, you will be responsible for connecting patients to machines that monitor vital signs, such as heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels. Your primary objective is to provide high-quality patient care by interpreting data from these machines and taking appropriate action when necessary.

• Deliver basic bedside care to patients.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the medical team.
• Initiate corrective action when necessary based on monitoring equipment information.

This position requires the following skills and qualifications:

• Recent acute care experience.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Lifting capacity of up to 50 pounds.
• Vision requirements including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

A valid ACLS certification and 2 years of experience are also required for this position. Additional certifications may be necessary before beginning an assignment.
