About the Role

UCHealth (Colorado) is seeking a highly skilled Breast Sonographer to join their team in Cherry Creek, Colorado. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch patient care and delivering exceptional results.

Job Summary

This full-time position requires a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program with certification in Mammography (M) and Breast Sonography (BS) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). You will work 40 hours per week, with flexible scheduling to accommodate the needs of our patients. The salary range for this position is $38.72 - $58.08 per hour, depending on your level of experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review patient history and physician's orders to ensure accurate scheduling and preparation.
  • Provide clear explanations of procedures, equipment, and exams to patients, ensuring their understanding and cooperation.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within the scope of practice.
  • Maintain a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to safety standards and performing quality control procedures on equipment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Sciences or related field.
  • Current ARRT registration and certification in Mammography and Breast Sonography.
  • State licensure if required by law.
  • At least six months of experience in mammography or breast sonography.
