Recreation Therapist

Kingwood Pines Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented Recreation Therapist - PRN to join our interdisciplinary treatment team. As a Recreation Therapist, you will be responsible for developing and providing therapeutic treatment plans for individuals and groups, promoting physical and emotional well-being in a supportive and inclusive environment.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team.
• Provide recreational activities and interventions to promote physical and emotional well-being.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and goals.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Document patient progress and outcomes.

• Minimum of three years' experience in recreation therapy in an in-patient environment.
• Bachelor's Degree in Recreational Therapy or related field.
• Current Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) Certification.
• CPR and HWC training.
