Position Overview: Join our culinary team as a skilled Cook IV, where you will play a vital role in our kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare your workstation with the necessary ingredients, tools, and equipment.
  2. Conduct thorough inspections of all kitchen tools and equipment to ensure cleanliness and functionality.
  3. Review the production schedule and establish priorities for daily tasks.
  4. Communicate with the Sous Chef regarding any required supplies for the day’s operations.
  5. Efficiently transport and stock supplies from the storeroom to designated areas.
  6. Operate kitchen equipment while adhering to safety protocols and standards.
  7. Implement waste reduction strategies to maintain food cost control.
  8. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality.
  9. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
  10. Ensure all unnecessary equipment is turned off at the end of your shift.
  11. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
  12. Effectively communicate guest requests to the chef or lead cook.

Additional Duties:

  1. Assist with scheduled inventory checks.
  2. Help in plating banquet meals as needed.
  3. Adhere to the maintenance and cleaning schedules.
  4. Support operations in various kitchen areas as assigned.
  5. Participate in off-premise functions when required.
  6. Attend designated meetings to stay informed.
  7. Engage with guests during banquet events to enhance their experience.
  8. When working in the bakeshop, demonstrate proficiency in using kitchen tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
  9. Communicate effectively with restaurant staff to clarify and expedite orders.
  10. Document recipes and requisitions as necessary.
  11. Possess a Food Safety Certificate and maintain Department of Health clearance.

We are looking for candidates with previous culinary experience who can multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
