Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently manage the loading and unloading of trailers
• Ensure proper handling of goods and equipment to prevent damage
• Organize and label pallets, placing them in designated areas
• Conduct inventory checks based on shipping documents during loading and unloading processes
• Assist drivers with the loading and unloading of products
• Perform routine inspections on forklifts
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dock area
• Stack products safely and in an orderly manner
• Submit necessary reports and information promptly
• Carry out basic arithmetic calculations as needed
• Support supervisors in training new employees and volunteers
• Load and secure shipments following established protocols
• Implement safe and efficient freight handling practices
• Adhere to a reliable attendance schedule
• Undertake additional tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of one year experience operating forklifts
• Experience with pallet jacks
• Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime
• Experience in a freezer/cooler warehouse environment
• Compliance with company policies and procedures
• Ability to complete tasks efficiently and on time
• Foster teamwork and collaboration

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in warehouse operations within the transportation sector
• A strong desire to learn and thrive in a dynamic environment alongside industry leaders
